Visit with Great Grandma & Grandpa Neville

A couple Sundays ago we went to visit Jared's Grandpa & Grandma Neville. We haven't been very good at visiting them as often as we should (shame on us) and so we thought we better go visit. They are so special and great. Grandma is amazing and Grandpa is amazing also. It is so hard to see age take them over and see them not doing as well as they once did. I guess you could say that we take them for granted and we need to do better! We couldn't surround ourselves with better examples than them.

Grandma Neville & Kenz. There probably isn't a more beautiful and kind woman that I can think of than her. She is a gem!

Eating ice cream with Grandma & Grandpa.

I hope that when Jar and I get old that we will take after these two. They are so great. We sure love them.

1st day of 1st Grade!

Today was Jace's first day of first grade! He has been so excited. He loves school and so he was rippin' and rarrin' to go. He had a good hearty breakfast (no fuit included...weird kid) and so when Jared came in and saw that I made breakfast for him he was a little jealous and so I told him that I would make $$ signs for him tomorrow! It has been a great day. He let us take him to school this morning and then he found out that he is going to have a pet snake in their classroom...YUCK! I probably won't be making many visits to the room... Anyway, he was so excited to come home and we were more. I only got a little teary eyed once or twice, but I pulled it together. He is my little buddy and man I can't believe he is going to school ALL Day.

Yes, it is too much to ask for a normal picture from these two. Ya gotta love them.
Our BIG First Grader!
Kenz trying, and pretty much succeeding at being the "class clown"
Jace's class room!
Come to the MaMa!! He's home!

HAPPY #2 KENZAROO!

Where has time gone??? I guess 'Time flies when you have a great kid like Kenz! She is so funny and keeps us laughing (most the time). She is such a blessing to our family and are so grateful she chose us to live with. She is my little buddy and I can always count on her coming up to me out of the blue or as she or I walk past each other and her and her saying, "Lu, Lou Mom". Kenz.....You "Wock"!

Her candles kept melting because the muffin was still a little too hot. So to say the least she had some wax with her muffin! woops!

There is a first for everything!

SO, there have been a couple of firsts this summer for us. Jace broke his arm for the first time, Rylie got her first real dirastic hair cut (I am not sure I am too excited about this one though), the kids did swim camp at Green Canyon or Green Slime is what we prefer to call it, I ran my first 1/2 marathon!, and Jace rode his first calf at a Rodeo!

Baseball Boy!

Jacer was able to get his cast off only 2 weeks after he had it put on. So he was able to play the last 2 weeks of baseball and he did pretty dang good if you ask me. He wanted to play so bad that he figured out how to put his hand in his mitt by loosening the strings and then he was able to get it on.

Fourth of July Festivities!!

For the fourth, we go to the big town of Menan, Idaho. We go hang out at the park and eat, and then watch the parade. It is fun and the kids enjoy it. That night we go to Hamer and Jacer and this year Rylie road a horse in the parade. The parade only lasts about 5 minutes, and so it is fairly painless. The kids love it! This year Jared's parents were the Grand Marshall's! It was fun to spend time with them. We think that they are pretty Grand ourselves!

We're Still ALIVE & KICKIN'!

What a great and fun summer we have had. I just am in denial that it is over! I am still in July since we had a late start on the summer (weather wise)! Here are some of the highlights in overload mode!!

Sunday visit to see Grandma Jensen! She is such an amazing person and we are so lucky to call her our Grandma!
Memorial day in Downey. This is were my moms parents are buried and so every year we go camping and swimming at the local Downata (not sure on the spelling)! It is great fun!
Grandpa & Grandma Kunz in Victor. It is always nice to go to the valley, but just not quite the same since my grandparents have passes on. I am a lucky girl to have such a great heritage.
Jacer fell off the back of a trailer and broke his arm...just in time for summer!!! He gets his skills from his mom!
We had the Hansen's come and stay with us for a couple days while Becky and the girls were up at girls camp. It was so fun.One day we went up to Rexburg and played at the park, did the merry-go-round, and played in the splash park...minor detail we didn't bring swim wear!
Sleeping out on the deck. Dad ended up sleeping with them also. I was on Kenzley duty, with no complaining on my part, duty!
LAGOON!! That's were fun is....I think??? We went with the Kunz family (Cole & Lindsay, Sayler & Wade) it was great fun, although hot! The dads are almost as fun as Lagoon is......
Heise Baby! We went to celebrate my brothers daughters birthday. We saran wrapped Jaces arm but it leaked a little. OOPS. The poor boy was a good sport!
Kenzley with her "bo-bo" She is obsessed with it. This is her for the last time without it. I think I had to wean myself instead of her.
My three monkey's. Rylie is into posing for pictures this day and it was cracking me up. And for Kenz....all I can say is CHEEZE!
