Ski Weekend!

For Valentines, and just for fun pretty much, my parents get a Condo at Targhee. We went up Friday and stayed until Monday. It was so much fun. The kids are doing great and loving skiing. They are little troopers. Monday, we skied all day and Rylie wouldn't quit. Her little legs had to have been wasted. Mom helped out with Kenz which was so nice. Jared stayed with the kids all day while I went back and forth skiing with Dad and Ty and the kiddo's. It was a beautiful day and I was so glad we got to go. Thanks Ma and Pa. Here's to a great weekend!.

Special Weekend

Well, a couple weeks ago, I got a phone call from my parents and they were both over come with emotion. Well, as soon as dad could talk, he let me know that he had just had a meeting with President Christensen, The Rexburg Temple President, and had been called to be a sealer in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple. He was so humbled to be called to such a position. I have to say that it is an Honor to be his daughter and I am one lucky girl to get to call him dad. It was a really special occation because all 8 kids of theirs was able to be there. Mom and Dad flew in Michelle from Flordia on Friday after noon, and we went and picked her up and then went to Olive Garden. It was so fun to see her. We haven't seen her for over a year. On Saturday morning Eric and Brock flew in from Oregon. We got to spend Saturday together and witnessed dad being set apart by Elder Bednar. It was so neat. That evening we went to the Temple celebration which was amazing. All-in-all, it was a great day and one that will be remembered forever.

MaMa's Little Ski Bunnies!

Okay, so I grew up skiing with my family and I have always looked forward to the day that I get to ski with my kids. Well, the day has come. I took the two kids up to Kelly's to ski and It was Rylies first time. SHe is a pretty tough kid and dareing, and so I thought she would do great. Well, she did fine, but she is so stubborn and bull headed that I finally just gave in and got her lessons. It was the greatest think I could have done. Kelly's is a fine ski hill, but their bunny hill isn't the greatest. Anyway, it was a great day and the kids had a ball.

Date Night!!

Jacer and I went night skiing together for a date. We went with our friends Lorina and Lee. He hadn't been skiing for about a year. I took him when he was 4 and I was prego with Kenz and so it didn't happen much then, but this year we have had a ball. This was his official first time, getting to ride the chair lift, and skiing with out edgy-wedgies. He did awesome. He struggled the first two times down the hill, but after a little dinner and motiviation, he caught right on.

Student of the Month

For the month of January, Jace got chosen to be the student of the month. He showed integrity and so he was chosen. I am thinking that this had to do alot with what happened the first of the school year. His teacher found a cover for a pair of scissors and no one was missing it and so Jace really wanted it and so he told his teacher that it was his. Well, he came home and told me what had happened and so I just asked him what he thought he should do. He decided that he would give it to his teacher and tell her what happened. So the next day he did what he planned. I was really proud of him because I don't know if I would have told my mom what I had done, let alone return it to the teacher and tell her that I was dishonest. He is a great kid.

Here he is infront of the picture that was taken of him.

For being chosen Student of the Month, he was given a certificate to have a free dinner at Wingers. So we went to Rexburg and celebrated. Uncle Ty-Ty came after skiing all day and then Grandpa and Grandma Kunz came to join in the fun.

And now we know why there arn't many pics of the Ma. YIKES

Jace is the one behind the camera and that is why there aren't any pictures of him at the restaurant.

SHOE LOVER!

This girl is ALL Girl!! Well, I don't know about that, but she is going through the funny stage of wearing everyones shoes. She is constantly wearing Jareds and mine, and Rylies and Jace's are a big hit because she can actually move in them. She is nuts and crazy funny!

Our little Klimber Kenz!

This girl is a climber! She is always climbing on something and destroying. Here, poor Paco is used to change channels on the TV. She pulls him all over to climb on him, and then she does her business.

BUSTED!!

Here is her technique in climbing up onto the counter...
1st she pulls the bench from the table over close to the stools.....
2nd she begins her climb...

and she got it. She is up and ready for the next portion....

Made it, and proud of it. Then she manuvers herself over the bar and goes and plays in the cupboards. She's a treasure!!

Best Friends!

The Girls playing with their new strollers. Kenz thinks she got jipped. She likes Ry's stroller better.

Rylie reading to Kenz on the stairs. I was cleaning one day and walked past the stairs and saw this. They are the cutest little friends. Hopefully it will always be like this......
